Retirement Success for a Couple

Robert and Anna met at a park where they were both working as a tour guide. After getting married they decided to take an early retirement.  They took their retirement pay check and invested on putting up a restaurant. Robert became a passionate restaurateur and Anna kept her tutorial job as a sideline.

Although the business is doing well it was not enough to pay for the debts, loans and mortgages. After getting inspired by a book, they decided to save a part of their profits that was coming from the restaurant. They began to live a simple lifestyle. They also did some super saving tricks like paying cold cash rather than cheques that allowed them to get the best deal.

After 10 years of saving, the couple finally decided to say goodbye to their business and to really retire. They sold their restaurant and paid all their debts. Robert started writing a book and Anna still continues to tutor children but this time it’s for free. Ever since they have been living a good life with the ability of doing what they want to do next without thinking about money.
